Good afternoon everyone!

Today we have a ton of great things in so let’s dive right in!

In now we have fantastic (wild) seafood from Terry & Pacific Seafood. We have stocked up on all the local favorites of Sockeye Salmon, Sea Scallops, 16/20 Count Prawns (at a super deal!), Willapa Oysters, Savory Clams, Pacific Cod, Dungeness Crab, Lingcod, Dover Sole, Yellowfin Tuna, & Red Rockfish, all at special prices this weekend! We also have two new tasty fish this week: Starry Flounder and Skate Wing!

Both fish are caught locally, with the Starry Flounder being caught by the F/V Ocean Hunter, and the Skate caught by the F/V Sea Clipper. Starry Flounder we have in now are in fillets much like our Dover Sole, with a firm and flakey flesh making them excellent pan-fried, poached, baked, or steamed. They go exceptionally well with butter-based meunière sauce (chopped parsley, lemon, and brown butter). The Skate Wings are a bit thicker, and excellent poached, fried, baked, or sauteed, being similar to scallops in taste (and often referred to as ‘Poor Man’s Scallops’, much like Monkfish is the ‘Poor Man’s Lobster’). As per norm, Greg has nothing but the best in his Produce Department and for this weekend he’s picked quite a few things for his special!

Greg’s Fresh Picks are: Honeycrisp Apples (99c each or buy a case at $35), California White Corn (first batch from Cali), Organic Strawberries, Organic Broccolini, Organic Russet Potatoes 5LB, delicious Asparagus, and Organic Bananas!
