Hoping to find some deals on Friday but don’t feel like fighting the crowds or dealing with traffic?  Why not wear your favorite plaid shirt or scarf and shop right here in Manzanita!  Several local merchants are offering discounts including our store.

Stop by anytime between 8-11AM and if you mention “Plaid Friday” at the checkout, we’ll take 10% off your purchase of almost everything in the store.

So what is Plaid Friday?  It is a less-stressful alternative to Black Friday that encourages local residents to shop in their own communities and to support their local small businesses.  It originated in Oakland, CA and has now spread nationwide.

Why Plaid?  It stems from the idea of “weaving the individual threads of small businesses together to create a strong fabric that celebrates the diversity and creativity of independent businesses.”
