Our first Sake is brewed here in Oregon; Moonstone Asian Pear Sake!
Imagine reaching up and picking a perfectly ripe pear off the tree, chilling it down and enjoying it simple and clean. That’s what Moonstone Asian Pear is like: bright, fresh and layered with pear aroma and flavors. Carefully blended, this lovely saké to retain clear suggestions of the base brew while taking you on a fruit filled adventure. Best enjoyed chilled or mixed in a saké cocktail, and ideal with Blue Cheese or saltier cured meat such as Prosciutto. Enjoy a smooth sake with an S.M.V of -8, and it’s 12% ABV.
Our second Sake is brewed and imported from Japan; Murai Family Tanrei Junmai Sake!
Handcrafted for over 200 years dating back to the Edo period of Japan, this is the ideal saké for sushi or sashimi. The brew is clean, dry, and crisp with a mellow flavor that pairs easily with the nuttiness of rice while it’s profile cleanses the palate as you enjoy your sushi. Uses Mutsuhomare rice, a S.M.V (Sake Meter Value) of +5, and an ABV of 14.5%.
