Blueberry season is in full swing! Here’s a different twist on salsa that features the yummy, northwest fruits by mixing sweet, savory and spicy all together. Try this on some homemade fish tacos with local sea bass or halibut or even albacore tuna.
Blueberry Salsa

Ingredients
- 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh blueberries
- 1 cup whole fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2-4 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced (to taste)
- 1/3 cup diced red onion
- 2 avocados, seeded and diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Chop and mix all ingredients except avocado and refrigerate overnight to marry flavors.
- Right before service add diced avocado and stir lightly.
