Ingredients
- Cookies
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 3 Tbs Maple Syrup
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Cup uncooked oats
- Frosting
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 2 Tbs Maple Syrup
- 1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- For cookies, preheat the oven to 350. Beat 1/2 butter and sugar in bowl with a mixer until creamy. Beat in 3 tablespoons syrup. Combine flour, baking soda and salt – gradually beat into butter mixture. Next put in oats.
- Drop dough by tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
- For frosting, beat cream cheese and 2 tbs butter in small bowl with mixer until smooth. Beat in 2 tbs syrup. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Spread frosting over cooled cookies.”
